Well start selling those DSLR's now the first card in the house of digital image capture is falling.  Those old  Canon EOS 1V's and Nikon F6's might just start to skyrocket in price soon.  I'll take my Mamiya II anyday.  Long live film.  Check out the article below where Kuwait has now banned the use of digital single lens reflex cameras in public places.

Social Media Gone Very Bad!!!!

For those of you who have to check Facebook every minute to make sure you are not missing a post or must have the constant stream of short snippets from Twitter or your day is not complete. This video is for you.  I have to admit I am guilty also.  Enjoy!!!

Amazing Retro Ink Press Printing that blows the mind,

In a day when we expect to immediately see the image we captured in ever increasing pixel density I find a video that demonstrates a completely hand done printing process to be extremely refreshing.  The final quality of this print was mind blowing try capturing that kind of dynamic range with even the most expensive of digital backs.  Paul Taylor of Renaissance Press is truly an artisan of the highest degree and the fact that he is keeping this process alive.  Watching his hands at work as the flew across the metal plate etching was amazing.  Please watch and enjoy and as always stay sexy!!!

Gregory Heisler whiteboards his Rudy Giuliani Time Magazine cover

Check out another great whiteboard presentation by Gregory Heisler. This guy is so down to earth and a great teacher. I really appreciate that he is willing to share his techniques on lighting since I might not ever get the chance to photograph Giuliani in my lifetime. Enjoy and stay sexy.

Commercial Photographer Joey Lawrence - Photography Techniques

A great interview with an extremely talented young photographer who is able to capture some amazing images. I think there is some great wisdom in the things he has to say even at his twenty years young.

Independence Day for the Greatest Nation on Earth

As we venture closer and closer to the day when we celebrate our independence from another nation I ask that we should all reflect upon what we have as Americans. Whether we differ in mind or spirit we live in a nation that embraces diversity of people and backgrounds. This great country beckons for us to become what we want to be and does not choose our lot in life. Through sweat and hard labor we can shape our futures and not have an oppressive government determine our future for us. We each pull ourselves up by our bootstraps daily and venture into the great nation hopefully not asking what this country can do for us but what can we do for ourselves. This is the greatest nation on earth just ask all of those who wait patiently to gain admittance as citizens so they can realize their dreams for themselves, their family and their new country. We are truly fortunate to live in this great land from sea to shining sea. Please view the link below it is inspiring.
